This repair kit 2 for Tesla X and Tesla S air struts front, type standard (2016-19 mod.). Is simpler than kit no. 1, and is particularly beneficial to have on hand when repairing leaks down at the strut.
The set consists of 12 parts.
1× aluminum ring
1× outer o-ring
2× inner o-ring
1× stop ring
2× strips (for cuff and rubber protection top)
1x c-ring with "ears" (replaced as needed)
1x o-ring for top cover (replaced as needed)
1x o-ring under top plate (replace as needed)
1x air nipple
1x hose cutter
The o-ring under the top plate of the air spring, can also be a source of leaks. This o-ring is usually reusable, but it is also included in the kit, and may be replaced if needed. Read more about this in section 8B here.

Be aware that the fork on the old air struts can be difficult to loosen, so you should know what you are doing. However, it is possible to knock down the aluminum ring on the original shock absorber, without loosening the fork itself. But then, make sure that the fork is angled correctly in relation to the screws on top of the air suspension, when you put it back together.
We recommend using air pressure to press the plastic cover over the outer o-ring on the aluminum ring (see video, time 18:45-20-10). The air filling hose used for this, as well as for pressure testing the air spring when the repair is complete, can be found here.
