ADAPTATION. Complete set (4 pcs.) of air struts for Tesla X 2016-19 models, air suspension type standard. You save about NOK 1,250 compared to buying them individually. The set consists of the following parts:
- Air struts 2 pcs. front, part number 1027361, followed by variants of 25E, 00G. Fits year models from 2015 to 2019, with standard air suspension type (not adaptive or active)
- Air struts 2 pcs. rear, part number 1027461, followed by variants of 00E, 00G. Fits year models from 2015 to 2019, with standard air suspension type (not adaptive or active).
Tesla original part price for all 4 shock absorbers is NOK 47,242 incl. VAT.
It may be a good idea to purchase an extra air nipple and hose cutter.
QUALITY CONTROL. All our air struts are pressure tested and thoroughly reviewed before dispatch. The transition from the cuff at the top of the suspension is also sealed with tec7. Similarly, down with the aluminum ring, a joint is laid (see pictures). In both places this is to prevent sand/brine from entering and formation of corrosion and oxidation, which is the cause of most leaks and has been a problem on the original ones, particularly in front.
WARRANTY. There is a 2-year warranty on Vigor® air struts (up to 80 000 km). But please note that this in principle only applies to installation at workshops authorized by Norwegian Public Road Administration, the NPRA (or similiar in other countries). In practice, however, the guarantee also applies if you install yourself. We assume here that you know what you're doing, and if you're not sure, rather seek out a workshop for assembly. Manufacturing defects give, regardless of what you go for, of course a full guarantee
