ADAPTATION. Complete set (4 pcs.) of air struts for Tesla X 2016-19 models, air suspension type standard. You save NOK 1.700 compared to buying them individually. The set consists of the following parts:
- Air struts 2 pcs. front, part number 1027361, followed by variants of 25E, 00G. Fits year models from 2015 to 2019, with standard air suspension type (not adaptive or active)
- Air struts 2 pcs. rear, part number 1027461, followed by variants of 00E, 00G. Fits year models from 2015 to 2019, with standard air suspension type (not adaptive or active).
Tesla's price for the parts is NOK 50.800 including VAT.
QUALITY CONTROL. All our air struts are pressure tested and thoroughly reviewed before dispatch. The transition from the cuff at the top of the suspension is also sealed with tec7. Similarly, down with the aluminum ring, a joint is laid (see picture 4-5 ). In both places this is to prevent sand/brine from entering and formation of corrosion and oxidation, which is the cause of most leaks and has been a problem on the original ones, particularly in front.
INSTALLATION. If you don't install it yourself, there are many workshops that do this. The price per pair is usually around NOK 3-5000. You may call around and ask if you can bring your own parts. It's also a good idea to buy an extra air nipple and hose cutter.
WARRANTY. There is a 2-year warranty on Vigor® air struts up to 80,000 km, also if you install them yourself. If you go DIY, however, we assume that you know what you are doing. If you are unsure, please visit a workshop for installation.
IF YOU ARE A COMPANY ABROAD. You can send your order to post@teslasuspension.com to avoid VAT. You will receive an invoice, and once payment is confirmed, the delivery is on its way. Remember that shipping, import taxes and fees are added. There are no additional costs for your company beyond what the invoice price states.
